TS - Whisky

Whisky - Ink Pen, Aquarelle
I would like to point out that, I got so focused on whether I want to spell Whisky or Whiskey that I somehow forgot the put the 's' in there. Therefore it now sits awkwardly in between the 'i' and the 'k'.

TS - Bridgman's [53]

Bridgman's [53] - Marker
I still like the new markers and still like using Bridgman's as inspiration for practice.

TS - Brown on Blue v.10.0

Brown on Blue v.10.0 - made with Tayasui Sketches
Today I'll start back into uploading pictures with something that was made on the plane flight back home, way too later at night. Never the less I went back at the old brown on blue theme.

I'm Back

Sorry that there was so little (no) work uploaded here for the past two weeks. I was recruiting for a new job and had way too much stuff on my mind to function properly. Now it's all over though and I look forward to putting at least one picture up here again each day.

TS - Bridgman's ... Again?

Bridgman's [33] - Ink Pen, Marker
Bridgman's [35] - Marker
I know, I know. The whole Bridgman's thing should be getting boring by now, but it doesn't. It is great practice, fun and now I can also use markers on paper rather than just on the iPad*. As you might see I'm just on about page 35 or so. There is plenty more sketches in that great book for me to practice with, so we'll might have to get used to seeing plenty more of these sketches in the near future.

*using real markers is more fun too

TS - Colour Play

Colour Play - Marker, Ink Pen
Colour Play v.2.0 - Marker, Ink Pen
I got markers for Christmas! And now I am playing around with them, getting used to how they behave. I am very used to pencils and know how to get different effects I want, how to choose paper, etc... but for markers.... It's all new for me. And it's awesome. I mean, just look at the colours they make and the marks they leave can be really nice too.

TS - More Folded Spirals

Folded Spiral v.3.0 - made with Adobe Line
Folded Spiral v.4.0 - made with Adobe Line
These are super fun to make but I do think that it is about time now that I start making them on paper with ink markers or colour pencils. Perhaps tomorrow?

TS - Folding Paper v.2.0

Folding Paper v.2.0 - made with Adobe Line
Don't love the colour theme I picked, but...... I'm also too lazy to change the colours.

BP - Folded Spiral v.3.0

Folded Spiral v.3.0 - made with Adobe Line
I made another one with some colours in it.

TS - Folded Spiral

Folded Spiral v.2.1 - made with Adobe Line
I made this pattern by tracing the fold lines on a photograph of a folded paper. I tried another one of the techniques I learned on Paul Jacksons' webpage. The fold is called V-Pleats and after having folded the paper I played around with it, tried to glue it together into a toroid, which did not quite work. So I cut it all apart again and just draped it into an interesting shape.

TS - Folding Paper

Folding Paper - Paper, Tape
So I went to a book store today and found a book called "Folding Techniques For Designers" by Paul Jackson. It was a read with amazing looking structures, simple, clean and elegant. I didn't buy it -yet- but when I got home I looked up Paul Jacksons' webpage and found some instructions to try out at home.
The above is the first attempt and I have a funny feeling that I might have to buy some carton and different coloured paper soon to play around some more with folding paper.
